Kohler Engine Oil Leak. Check of engine oil is good. It's blowing the 20amp fuse and i believe the oil shorted.

Now the mower drips a small amount of oil from front of engine, possibly from. Thought it might just be filter was loose tighten the filter a litter but still leaking oil.

Pay attention to any debris or a piece of the old filter gasket on the seal lip. Eventually the front oil seal went and got a crack in the block, so the engine was replaced after 1800hrs. Cleaned engine and mower few days later, added oil today and ran for 40 minutes with no leak, started mowing.few minutes later.major oil leak.source unknown.

If The Oil Leak Is Coming From The Bottom Of The Engine, Near The Base, It Is Likely Because Of A Problem In The Oil Tank Or Oil Sump.

Many engine gaskets, seals and governor shafts are not designed to handle a pressure, and this will result in an oil leak. I replaced the oil cooler lines and clamps, oil filter, and 'o' ring on the cooler to sump. Every now and then i just cleaned it up with oil gator.

I have a used freedom xt with a liquid cooled 26hp engine. Next, shut your engine off, inspect for your oil leak. I have husqvarna lawn mower with 27hp engine, oil started leaking from behind oil filter.
